Basic requirements:

Safety footwear with a toe cap resistant to an impact of 200 Joules* with fuel oil resistant out-sole.

*200 Joules

This means the steel toe cap will withstand the impact of 20 kg in weight falling on to the toes from a height of 10.2 metres
